Karate: First Belt & What’s Next
The exam and the ceremony for the first belt will be taking place in our Dojo Monday the 4th of December 6pm.
Accoring to George all kids are eligible for the exam, and will pass the exam. This is important, we would not recommend your child to take the exam if we didn’t know he/she would pass it.
If you choose to take the exam, this is what you need
Join as many practices you can before the 4th
Buy/order the Karate GI (see links below) this week.
Pay the Exam Fee of 1,300,000vnd (Exam 900,000 + Belt 400,000)
We need the full name of your child + birthdate (year/month/day/) for the certificate(s)/diploma(s)
Important note
The exam/belt is optional. If you choose not to take the exam, your child will still get a certificate of completion of the course, just not the belt. We still need your child’s full name and birthdate for the certificate/diploma (year/month/day)
The future
We will continue with the class for at least 1 more month, until the first week of January. But only 2 days per week (not 4 as it is now). We will decide which days together with you parents and pick 2 that fits all of us the best.
After the first week of January George will/might leave Da Nang. Hopefully not, but we will know this at the end of December.
If George leaves, we will do our best to find a replacement as soon as possible.
